New Digital Downloads available, upcoming con schedules and next Kickstarter

Hey everyone.  Due to the events in Boston, the Boston Comic Con was cancelled and rightfully so.  The city has other things to focus on and they have their priorities.  Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to visit and wish all our Boston area fans thanks for their support but we will certainly be back.

This coming weekend, Jimmy and Amanda will be attending the Chicago C2E2 convention.  Any Chicago area fans, please swing by and say Hi to Jimmy and Amanda.  More info can be found at:

http://www.c2e2.com/

And then in May, both Amanda and Jimmy will be attending the Dallas Comic Con on May 17 – 19th.  More info can be found there at:

Finally, we’re happy to announce that we’ve rolled out another wave of our projects available for Digital Download directly from our site.  We can’t tell you how happy we have been for the support to date for just our Sex & Violence: Vol. 1 digital download (for those who weren’t able to participate in our last Kickstarter.  We have some of our other projects:  Trailblazer, Queen Crab, Retrovirus, Back To Brooklyn and many more available for download purchase from our site.  Remember 100% of the funds go directly to our creators this way, allowing us to put more money into future creator owned projects.  You can find the new listings with the other products on our “Digital Downloads” page:

Finally, keep an eye peeled for our next Kickstarter project called Weapon of God.  Will be a smaller Kickstarter project that will hopefully find an audience and surprise us.  Here is the original cover idea and design by who else?  The wonderful Amanda Conner!

Looking forward to the week and again, we can’t thank you all enough for your continued support and appreciation.  You all make us go!

Boston and more

First and foremost, our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone in Boston and anyone affected by the tragic events in the Boston area.  Such senseless acts just weigh on us.  Please, take some time and donate any amount if possible to someplace like Red Cross, we’re all a big family in this world.

Meanwhile, Amanda and Jimmy will be heading to Boston this weekend (20th and 21st) for the Boston Comic Con.  If you are in the area and need to take a break from the news and life for awhile, please swing by and say “Hi” to the couple.  They are sure to be thrilled to see and chat with anyone that stops by.  More information about the convention can be found at:

http://www.bostoncomiccon.com/

And more shameless plugging of our stuff.  Next week is All-Star Western #19 featuring a time traveling guest, that’s right, Booster Gold.  His appearance was a great addition to the storyline and one the gang is having a blast writing.  Make sure you are grabbing this issue, it will be hard to find.

We’re also continuing to build out the website more in the coming weeks.  The Digital Download section of the website (https://www.paperfilms.com/?page_id=395) is taking off and we’re thrilled to see the number of people who have been able to make a purchase and support our projects.  We can’t say enough about how important that is.  All the money goes directly to the creators without having to pay fees to the online providers or hosts.  You’ll see all of the projects are the creator owned works so that really does just fund more projects.  In the coming weeks, you’ll be seeing more digital offerings as well as some new print versions of the books.  We appreciate your patience as we handle some hiccups and settings, but in the end, we do our best to make sure everyone that makes a purchase at our website is happy.

Everyone of you that supports our projects are tops in our book!

PaperFilms digital downloads now available!!!

Hey folks, just a quick website update that we have started the process to roll out digital downloads via our website.  These will be .pdf formatted files you will be able to download to your computer or any device.

You can swing on over to the Digital Downloads portion of our website, select the book you are interested in, and go through PayPal to complete the transaction.  This will generate an automated email with a secure, one time only download link of the file.

We certainly enjoy and appreciate everyone seeking our projects out on Comixology and other applications, we never want undercut those applications and services, so you will always see the prices the same or above.  However, the cool thing is that by offering this ourselves, we do not have to split the $ with Apple and other middle men and only get a % of what you pay. All the $ goes directly to us and we roll it over into new books asap. Yes, we are a small group…but everyone starts from the beginning.  Some products will be exclusive to our website, such as our recently completed and shipped Kickstarter project, Sex and Violence: Vol. 1

In the coming weeks and months, we will be rolling out more versions of our projects onto the site.  We hope you stay updated and keep checking back on the site as those are made available.  Once again, we cannot thank you for your support for each and every one of our projects!!
